We are thrilled to announce the release of our latest single ‘Raining’, available everywhere on 19 May 2023.
There aren’t too many songs celebrating rain, but that’s exactly what the new single does. When the rain’s pelting down outside and you’re tucked up with your lover there’s no need to go anywhere else. Definitely something to celebrate!
“We were driving to Bristol, my hometown,” says the song’s writer, Andy Evans. “As we got nearer I could see a massive grey cloud hanging over it. ‘No change there I thought’, remembering many rainy days as I was growing up. It triggered other memories, and by the time we arrived the song was half written.”
‘Raining’ was recorded at Garage Studios, East Grinstead, by Martin Smith in sessions that took place in 2021. The release follows a hiatus that stems from the lockdown period. The band have all been caught up in other projects since then and the new single marks a welcome return.
